Credit Unions for Kids Endowed Chair Kickoff

Credit Unions for Kids Endowed Chair Kick Off was held at the Oklahoma Autism Center on September 13th, 2016. Credit Union Presidents and CEO’s from across the state gathered to learn more about the Endowed Chair being established in their name. Twenty years of partnership began in 1997 with a donation of $13.98; current donations to date are nearly $3 million! Dr. Bonnie McBride and Dr. Lauren Ethridge demonstrated the portable EEG machine purchased with CU4K funds. This machine is a non-invasive, passive tool that will read brain wave activity in children as young as 15 months. It is completely portable and allows children in rural communities access to the care they so desperately need. Thank you Credit Unions for all you do for Oklahoma’s kids!
