2nd Annual 1Up Tournament a Success!

The OKC Blue teamed up with Extra Life and OCU Esports to host the 2nd Annual 1UP Open at the OCU Esports Starcade on February 19th, 2022. The tournament hosted 3 Esports tournaments that day featuring Super Smash Ultimate, Rocket League, HALO Infinite. Over $1,000 in prize money was given out over the 3 tournaments.

A portion of the proceeds benefited Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network program where gamers PLAY GAMES to raise money for their local children’s hospitals to SAVE LIVES. These donations will go to the Children’s Hospital Foundation so they can continue the research for cures/better treatments and to make sure no child in Oklahoma is turned away because of the inability to pay for treatments.
