POPS! For Patients
Spreading smiles at children’s hospitals through the distribution of Funko POPS! has become a nationwide sensation. POPS! for Patients began in August of 2016 at Tennessee’s local children’s hospital and has since spread to most of the 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Funko POPS! are pop culture vinyl figurines and bobbleheads that include characters from popular books, movies, TV shows, video games, and music.
Stranger Games, a store specializing in buying, selling and trading Funko POP! toys and other collectibles is participating in POPS! For Patients for Children’s Hospital Foundation through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Stranger Games has recently opened its new location at 1022 SW 59th St. in Oklahoma City. The collectibles store allows patrons to both drop off valuable figurines and purchase new ones in the store. Even those who live elsewhere can participate in this charitable program by ordering a Funko POP! character and shipping it to Stranger Games for later distribution to Oklahoma’s sick and injured children.
Stranger Games recently delivered 182 Funko POP! toys to the Children’s Hospital Foundation for pediatric patients currently in treatment at Children’s Hospital. All POP! characters must be new and in their original unopened box.
Stranger Games also takes Dorbz, Unopened Mystery Minis, Pint Sized Heroes, Plushies, Pez, Keychains, and any other Funko product as a part of the philanthropy. The POPS! for Patients program is an easy and affordable way to show your support for Children’s Hospital Foundation and to help brighten the day of a child battling an injury or illness.
